Our mission at Salem United Methodist Church is to live abundantly by growing in faith, fellowship, spirit, and service.
Though the word “liturgy” tends to mean “the stuff we do in worship,” the original Greek word leitourgia has a much richer definition: “the work of the people.” It’s what we do. At Salem, our “liturgy” extends from Sunday worship into all the aspects of our life together in the world. Christian discipleship is hard work, and it’s the best work we know.
