Our mission at Salem United Methodist Church is to live abundantly by growing in faith, fellowship, spirit, and service.
In order to follow Jesus’ way, we make a priority of being present with each other.
Why? Our whole Christian story hinges on the good news that in Jesus, God is present with us. We believe that Jesus is God incarnate, or God-in-the-flesh revealed to all creation.
So as Christians, we’re meant to be into fellowship with one other. We’re called out of increasing social isolation into the community of the Body of Christ – even if community creates its own set of challenges. We’ve found together that God’s transforming grace in this community is worth it.
